Try the camera outside or near very strong lights to test the visibility of the view screen in adverse lighting conditions.
How easy is it to scroll through the menu? The menu should be clear and easily accessible.
Although there is a large viewfinder screen, you should test out the small viewfinder to see if it is comfortable to use. You will need to use this if you want to save your battery charge.
